Each time I work on a new piece, I discover new things to try. I find a new tool (from among household items) or a new way to apply the paint. Sometimes I experiment with other media to enhance the work.
I scrape paint across the textured board or brush it, splatter, drip or squirt it. I let the colors mix on the surface rather than on the palette.
“Grafitti” is a fast paced explosion of line, color and texture that seems almost random in its execution. It quickens the pulse and heightens senses.
”Fire on the Water” while fierce, still has a beauty that can not be denied. Colors dance and reflect in beautiful washes.
