Spacin’ Out is a series of paintings using a technique that involves spider webbing and watercolor paints. Using hand-cut stencils to “save” various areas, these paintings are sometimes built up layer by layer, pushing some areas to the foreground and others back into the distance or they can all live on the same plane with other accents to enhance the effect.
