I just finished hanging several pieces of art, in various styles and mediums, at Merritt’s Table.  (Thanks, Laura & Chris)

If you haven’t been there, Merritt’s Table is a fine dining establishment, located at 170 N. Grove Street on Merritt Island.  The restaurant specializes in using all fresh ingredients and the menu is constantly changing.  Stop in for some fine food, exceptional wine and enjoy some fine art while you’re there.

Over the Sofa

Art Gallery of Viera’s new exhibit features artwork that responds to the request of many of our visitors,  “I’m looking for something to go over my couch”.    Join us on Friday, March 11th from 6-9 pm for some classic movies and popcorn and see this new display.

Art Show in Cape Canaveral

I will be at the Cape Canaveral Library 10 am – 4 pm Friday, January 28th & Saturday, January 29th for the Central Brevard Art Association’s 9th annual Cape Canaveral Library Art Show.  I will have many of my new acrylic abstracts as well as a collection of my mixed media collages on display.

Welcome to Wheat’s Art!  I am Helen Wheatley and Wheat’s Art is a potpourri of my exploration of watercolor, mixed media collage, acrylics, Ikebana and pretty much anything else that interests me artistically.   I am a firm believer that you can make a short attention span work for you and you’ll see how I’ve done just that through my dabbling in various styles, mediums, subject matter, etc.
