The Fifth Avenue Art Gallery presents “All 4 Love,” an exhibition comprising work of 78 artists, including work by Linda Brandt, former chairwoman of the Brevard Cultural Alliance.

Art in the show will be given randomly to ticket holders of the show’s special reception March 19.

Tickets cost $100, which includes admission for two, wine, refreshments and a work of art the ticket holder will choose.

Proceeds benefit Sentinels of Freedom Space Coast, which helps fund scholarships for severely injured military personnel from Brevard County after they return home from serving overseas.

The charity inspired Renee Decator to organize the exhibition.

“I thought it would be a cause artists would get behind, and they did,” she said. “They wanted to participate. It involved our whole community of artists. The museum printed the books.”

The reception is 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 19 at the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery, 1470 Highland Ave., Melbourne. Work in “All 4 Love” will remain on view in at the gallery until March 27. A book detailing the exhibition is available for $19 plus tax. Net proceeds for the book also will go to Sentinels of Freedom Space Coast.

*I will be there as one of the artists who has created an original artwork for the event.  When Rene asked me to participate, I had to say yes to such a worthy cause, no matter how busy I was.  My piece is an acrylic painting titled “Taking Flight”.
